Summer break + upcoming launches & events

2025 is flying by, so it is time to slow down a little. Until 15 August team Jap Sam Books will take a summer break to recharge for the second half of this year, which will be full of new launches and book fairs!
Orders will be shipped during this time, but might take longer.
We are excited to return refreshed, with many upcoming launches to look forward to, including the long awaited newly revised reprint of Vistas of Modernity by Rolando Vázquez. This edition includes a new foreword by Gloria Wekker and epilogue by Walter Mignolo.
Upcoming art launches include monographs by artists Karin van Dam, Lex ter Braak, Hans van der Ham, and Marien Schouten. A research/artist book by Sarojini Lewis, and artist books by artists Jannemarein Renout and Esper Postma.
In the category of architecture and design books we will launch a monograph by architect Pi de Bruijn, Atlas of Tree City Delft, a publication on Landgoed Haverleij, and Tju|Ho. Thoughtful ways of making and walking in cooperation with KASK & Conservatorium (HOGENT-Howest) and Future Footwear Foundation.
We are also working on exciting publications in collaboration with Kunstmuseum The Hague and CKB Zuidoost/BijlmAIR.
