From April 29th until May 1st Singapore Art Book Fair 2022, one of Asia's leading art book fairs will take place in the Singapore Art Museum! Jap Sam Books will be represented by Thing Books during this event with a dedicated JSB table featuring a selection of our publications.

From April 4th until April 8th you can visit the AnArchi bookmarket! AnArchi is the study association for architecture at the Technical University of Eindhoven. All sorts of publications from multiple publishing houses can be found at good prices. The topics vary from architecture, urban planning, to art books.

On Wednesday February 2nd the Rural School of Economics exhibition by MyVillages opened at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. The exhibition marks the launch of the Rural School of Economics, a new trans-local and collaborative infrastructure for learning, for those who create and use rural economics.

For the last five years photographer Yvonne Brandwijk and journalist Stephanie Bakker travelled to five of the fastest-growing cities in the world. Not to Mumbai or Shanghai, but to the up-and-coming cultural, creative and economic hubs of tomorrow: Kinshasa, Lima, Yangon, Medellín and Addis Ababa.
